Dr Helene Conlon grew up in the Adelaide Hills and graduated as a Vet from Murdoch University in 1993. After a 3 year stint in Tasmania and a 1 year Vet working holiday in England, she moved and settled back in the Adelaide Hills.
Dr Helene worked in various practices around Adelaide, before joining the Mount Barker Veterinary Clinic in 2012. After working at the clinic for some time and liking the team, Dr Helene bought in and became a Partner.
Dr Helene loves the constant variety of veterinary medicine from helping people with their animals, so they can be their happy and healthy best through preventative health, to the rush of emergency care and treatment.
Dr Helene particularly enjoys working with and helping our native wildlife, from birds and possums to koalas, kangaroos and wombats.Helene lives in Mt Barker with her family and several fur-kids. When not working as a Vet, she is usually working on her property with her family and looking after her own animals, or riding her horses or going on long walks with her dogs in the Adelaide Hills . Dr Helene also enjoy travelling and exploring Australia with all it’s unique animals and habitats.
