Dr Lucie Manifold

Associate Vet

Dr Luice grew up in Tasmania but went to veterinary school in WA. She graduated from Murdoch University in 1993 – The same year as Dr Helene! After graduating Dr Lucie has worked as a Vet in every state of Australia as her family moved around with her Husband's job.

When Dr Lucie and her family moved to South Australia, she began working at Mt Barker Vet Clinic in November 2015 as locum and has stayed ever since. She brightens us all up with her positive down to earth nature and stories that make us laugh.

Dr Lucie loves the combination of the mental stimulation and physical dexterity of the job, going from all varieties of medicine, to the delicacy and skill of surgery as well as the puzzle of pathology. We are blessed to be a small part of the lives of our clients and their beloved pets in their journeys together, to help them both have happy, healthy lives.

Lucie lives in Woodside with her husband, 2 children, horses and Hungarian Visla Tish. When I’m not at work, I spend time on our small property with my family and animals – I love spending time outside in the paddocks or the garden. I’m also very involved with pony club and other equestrian groups, as I support one of my daughters in her riding interests - so I’m often seen grooming or on the sidelines at many horse events locally.
